• I called the PC Doctor after I dropped a glass of water on my laptop, they gave me great advice and I brought my laptop to them, they agreed a price for looking at it and explained that there was only a 50/50 chance of being able to fix it. He said it could look at it the following day. I called them just as he was looking at it, and he said that he was drying it out but it looked like it was working ok, but he'd like to keep it over the weekend just to make sure. He called on the Monday morning to say all was ok. Hurrah, brilliant service, good price and good customer care, I'd highly recommend them.

  My computer crashed suddenly with my portable hard drive connected to it, which resulted in 3 important folders disappearing from it. • In 2009 PCDoctor set up my last machine in a home visit. They moved my software and files from an XP to a new Vista machine and ensured that all other hardware was properly configured. I experienced no problems at any point during the next five years even though my system is extensively used.
  
  In October 2014 I used the firm again to change my Vista 32 bit system to a Windows 8.1 64 bit system. This time the work was done at their base. Once again the setup, comprising system restore, software installation and re-installation, system configuration and data transfer, has been handled with complete efficiency. I have been consulted as appropriate throughout. I could put it this way. They do what you ask them to do with complete attention to detail. More to the point, they do what you didn’t know you needed to ask them to do. Subsequently a couple of additional configurations have been handled immediately by telephone and secure remote control. The results are superlative, the service superb.
